New Mexico Arts Imaginative Collective (NMAIC) is accepting submissions for its

upcoming show:

“Doorway to Imagination: A Multisensory Approach to Art” 

The show seeks to engage an audience including the blind and the visually impaired as well as sighted communities through innovative and interactive experiences using sight, touch, hearing and smell.

EXHIBITION DATES: 
The show will run October 4 through October 25, 2024 at the Orpheum Community Hub, located at

 

 500 2nd St. SW in downtown Albuquerque.  

 

SUBMISSIONS: 
Artwork must engage two or more senses (Sight, Touch, Hearing, Smell). We are looking for 2D and 3D art; all mediums will be considered. Up to five (5) works may be submitted, with a minimum of three (3) works required for submission. All submissions must have a detailed description of each artwork itself, including how it engages multiple senses, as well as any special instructions for installation. Acceptance into the show includes membership in NMAIC.

• Images must be in jpg format no less than 3MB or 2000 x 1400 pixels. 

• Submission fee is $20.       

• Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2024 

• Notifications for acceptance will be sent out August 1, 2024
