How to Submit

Submission Guidelines

Please submit all required materials in a single email to newmexicoaic@gmail.com

All visual art forms are welcome.

The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

1. Artist Statement: Explain how your work relates to the following theme:

Pathways to Reflection: Where Stories Unfold

This exhibition invites you to forge your own path—to reflect, connect, and discover meaning through creative expression.

 

2. Artist Bio: Provide a brief biography (100–200 words).

 

3. Artwork: Submit one to five works of art. For each piece, include the artist’s name, title, medium, dimensions, and price. Attach high-quality JPGs of each work (minimum 3MB or 2000 x 1400 pixels) and/or proposals. Be sure to include the entry fee by July 11, 2026.

 

4. Social Media: List your social media accounts or handles.

 

5. Entry Fee: A non-refundable $20 entrance fee is required. Please pay via the donate button at nmaic.org, and include “PATHWAYS” in the note field. Acceptance into the show includes NMAIC membership. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

 

6. Notification: Artists will be notified of their acceptance status by Saturday, August 1, 2026.
